Lahore, November 16, 2024 – Renowned Pakistani TV actress and host Mishi Khan has issued a strong statement addressing the disturbing trend of private videos being leaked on social media, following recent incidents involving TikTokers Minahil Malik and Imsha Rehman.
Mishi, known for her candid and thoughtful views, expressed deep concern over the situation and urged women to exercise caution. She said, “It is quite an alarming trend to leak private videos of influencers and TikTokers. Whoever is doing that will be punished by Allah, but I would like to request all the girls to stop sharing their personal pictures and videos with anyone. Don’t fall into any trap, even if you are engaged to someone or planning to marry him soon.”
The seasoned actor highlighted the serious consequences of such incidents, including blackmail and emotional distress, which have driven some victims to the brink of suicide. Referring to past incidents, Mishi noted, “Previously, we saw leaked videos of a TikToker. Now, there is a girl from Gilgit-Baltistan facing the same situation. Stop doing this and also protect the girls around you.”
Mishi Khan, who has been a morning show host on Khyber TV for over a decade and has earned acclaim for her roles in dramas like “Uroosa,” “Boota From Toba Tek Singh,” and the film “Janaan,” continues to use her platform to raise awareness on important social issues.
Her message serves as a wake-up call to both individuals and society, emphasizing the need for digital responsibility and mutual respect.
