Peshawar, November 17, 2024 – Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has issued a stern ultimatum to party members, emphasizing the importance of their participation in the planned protest on November 24. She warned that any party official or National Assembly member who fails to attend the demonstration would be considered dissociated from the party.

Addressing a gathering of PTI members from southern districts in Peshawar, Bushra Bibi highlighted the critical nature of the protest, calling it a defining moment for defending the constitution, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring parliamentary supremacy. She echoed Imran Khan’s call for action, urging all provincial and National Assembly members to document their participation as part of convoys traveling from Peshawar to Islamabad. The documentation, she said, should include videos of PTI supporters joining the journey to showcase unity and commitment.

Bushra Bibi reiterated that any member who fails to participate in the protest would effectively sever ties with the party. She emphasized the movement’s significance as a collective effort to safeguard Pakistan’s democratic values and institutions.

The PTI has finalized its strategy for the November 24 protest, with plans to converge on Islamabad from multiple directions. According to party insiders, the leadership is resolute in its determination to reach the capital and has delegated specific responsibilities to regional leadership in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Demonstrations will begin in these regions before convoys from other provinces join them.

Each provincial convoy has been assigned designated routes to reach Islamabad, though the final location for the sit-in has not been decided. The party’s core committee has suggested D-Chowk as a possible venue for an indefinite protest, signaling that the movement will extend beyond a single day.

This large-scale mobilization, spearheaded by Bushra Bibi’s strong message and the party’s organized efforts, aims to create significant political momentum for PTI at a critical juncture in its political journey.
