In the ceremony, Ambassador Akamatsu, reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s education sector, particularly by promoting opportunities for girls in undeserved areas.

Ambassador Akamatsu expressed hope that improved educational facilities would encourage more girls to contribute to their education and contribute positively to their communities.

Mr. Shinozaki Yusuke, Chief Representative of JICA Pakistan Office, appreciated the strong collaboration among the Government of Sindh, colleagues of this project, local community, and all stakeholders that contributed to the successful completion of the project. Mr. Shinozaki noted that the upgraded schools would provide female students with improved facilities and a better environment for learning and growth.

Japan and JICA remain committed to strengthening cooperation with Pakistan and supporting inclusive and sustainable development through education.
