Islamabad, July 28, 2026: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday received a farewell call from Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, at Parliament House, reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral and parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, the Speaker appreciated Ambassador Farhadov’s contributions to promoting Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations during his tenure and expressed satisfaction over the steady growth in bilateral ties.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underscored the importance of expanding parliamentary cooperation and enhancing people-to-people contacts between the two brotherly countries to further deepen their longstanding relationship.
Ambassador Khazar Farhadov thanked the Speaker for his warm sentiments and acknowledged his efforts in strengthening parliamentary engagement between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He also expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to grow in the years ahead.
The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to further enhancing bilateral and parliamentary cooperation.
