Amman, August 5, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Amman on Wednesday to participate in the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem, convened by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Upon his arrival, Dar was received by Saja Almajali, Director of the Human Rights Directorate at Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan Major General (R) Khurram Sarfraz Khan, and officials of the Embassy of Pakistan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister has a full schedule of engagements during his visit, including participation in the ministerial meeting, a call on His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, and a series of bilateral meetings with fellow foreign ministers.

The discussions will focus on the evolving situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly Jerusalem, as well as regional developments and bilateral issues of mutual interest.

The visit reflects Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement with regional partners on the Palestinian issue and broader Middle East affairs.
