Islamabad, August 17, 2026: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with Ambassador of Brazil to Tajikistan, resident in Islamabad, Olyntho Vieira, to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Tajikistan-Brazil relations and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, trade, cultural and other areas of mutual interest.
Particular attention was given to promoting bilateral contacts and expanding engagement between relevant institutions of the two countries.
The ambassadors also discussed the organisation of bilateral meetings and events at various levels, as well as measures to further enhance institutional cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain regular dialogue and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Brazil.
