Islamabad, August 18, 2026: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain to discuss bilateral relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Tajikistan-Pakistan relations and prospects for their further development, along with various sectoral issues of mutual interest.
Particular attention was given to enhancing cooperation in the economic, trade and investment sectors, as well as labour and human resource development.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
