Islamabad, August 20, 2026: President Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated András Baka on his election as President-elect of Hungary and conveyed his best wishes to the Hungarian people on their National Day.
In his message, President Zardari expressed confidence that Pakistan-Hungary relations, rooted in mutual trust and shared interests, would continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
The president said he looked forward to working closely with President-elect Baka to broaden bilateral cooperation, particularly in political and parliamentary exchanges, trade and investment, development cooperation, climate action, education, culture, migration and mobility.
President Zardari also conveyed his best wishes to President-elect Baka for good health, well-being and success, and expressed hope for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Hungary.
