Islamabad, September 9,2026: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm felicitations to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan on the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Tajikistan.
The President, in his letter, highlighted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its historic and brotherly ties with Tajikistan which are rooted in shared faith, cultural affinities, common heritage and mutual trust. He emphasised that Pakistan greatly values the steady expansion of bilateral cooperation across trade, energy, connectivity and people-to-people exchanges.
President Zardari expressed confidence that under President Emomali Rahmon’s visionary leadership, the fraternal partnership between the two nations will continue to deepen, contributing to peace, stability, connectivity and prosperity in the region.
