Islamabad, September 15, 2026: Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Irfan Shakiroglu Davudov.
The two ambassadors discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Tajikistan-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, along with matters of mutual interest.
The meeting also focused on strengthening cooperation between the two embassies in Islamabad and coordinating their activities within the framework of their diplomatic engagement in Pakistan.
Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain constructive cooperation and exchange experiences to further strengthen the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
