Dubai, September 16, 2026: Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz and Sufiyan Muqeem have improved their positions in the latest ICC T20I rankings following the India-Afghanistan series, while several other Pakistani players slipped down the standings.
In the T20I batting rankings, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan dropped one place to third, with India’s Abhishek Sharma moving up to second. India’s Ishan Kishan retained the top spot.
Young left-handed batter Saim Ayub remained 41st with 560 points, while Babar Azam retained 43rd place with 555 points. T20I captain Salman Ali Agha also remained 45th with 547 points.
Fakhar, who last played a T20I for Pakistan in February, climbed one place to 72nd with 481 points. No other Pakistani batter features in the top 100.
In the bowling rankings, Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed retained second place with 736 points, while England’s Adil Rashid remained third. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continued to lead the rankings.
Nawaz moved up one place to eighth with 658 points. Pakistan pacer Salman Mirza dropped two places to 17th with 636 points, while left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi slipped one place to 32nd with 602 points.
Usman Tariq retained 59th place with 524 points, while Sufiyan Muqeem climbed to 64th with 510 points.
Saim Ayub, who also features in the bowling rankings, remained 72nd with 492 points. Shadab Khan was 77th, while Haris Rauf retained 88th place with 448 points.
