Islamabad, September 18, 2026: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid tribute to security forces personnel for their successful operations against terrorist elements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The speaker said the operations reflected the security forces’ resolve, professionalism and courage in the fight against terrorism. He said security personnel had rendered immense sacrifices to safeguard peace and security in the country.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid homage to the personnel who embraced martyrdom during the operations, saying their sacrifices in defence of the country and for peace were a matter of pride for the entire nation.
He said the sacrifices of the martyrs had further strengthened the nation’s resolve and unity in the fight against terrorism, adding that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces.
The NA speaker also expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs, saying their sacrifices would never go in vain and that he shared the families’ grief in their hour of loss.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the martyrs and grant patience and fortitude to their families to bear the irreparable loss.
