Islamabad, September 18, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the terrorist attack and blasts at the Police Lines in Kohat during Friday prayers, expressing deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives.
NA Speaker said that targeting police personnel and innocent civilians during Jumma prayers was a cowardly and highly condemnable act. He expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of those martyred in the blast, saying that he shared their grief and stood with them in their hour of sorrow.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed for the early and complete recovery of those injured in the incident, stressing that the terrorists responsible for such heinous acts must be dealt with firmly and swiftly in accordance with the law.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that terrorists targeting innocent citizens in pursuit of their nefarious objectives, shall never succeed in their designs.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces and law-enforcement agencies in their fight against terrorism and remains committed to supporting their efforts to protect the lives and security of the people.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and fortitude for the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
