Lahore, September 29, 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced the match officials for the national men’s team’s upcoming home international assignments, featuring bilateral T20I and Test series against Sri Lanka and an ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England.
Former New Zealand cricketer Jeffrey Crowe, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will serve as match referee for all seven matches of the ODI tri-series, scheduled from October 18 to 31 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Crowe will be joined in the match officials panel by ICC Elite Panel umpires Ahsan Raza and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid.
ICC International Panel umpires Wayne Knights of New Zealand, Asif Yaqoob, Nasir Hussain, Rashid Riaz Waqar and Faisal Khan Aafreedi will also share umpiring duties during the seven-match series.
The tri-series will conclude with the final at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on October 31.
For the two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27, former English first-class cricketer and member of the ICC Emerging Match Referees Group Dean Cosker will serve as match referee.
The first Test will be played at Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while the second Test will be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21.
ICC Elite Panel umpires Adrian Holdstock and Allahuddien Palekar of South Africa, along with Australia’s Rodney Tucker, will officiate the two Tests.
For the three-match T20I series, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13, ICC International Match Referee Ali Naqvi will lead the playing control team.
Faisal Khan Aafreedi, Nasir Hussain, Rashid Riaz Waqar and Tariq Rasheed will serve as umpires during the T20I series.
