Islamabad, October 1,2026: Ambassador of Portugal Paulo Domingues received a delegation from BIL Group, led by CEO and Director Muhammad Tauseef Zaman, to discuss the BIL-Porto Business School Initiative for the Mining Sector.
The initiative seeks to connect Pakistan’s mining and minerals sector with Portuguese and European expertise, advanced technologies, investment networks and business opportunities.
The proposed initiative will focus on mineral processing, value addition, critical minerals and sustainable mining practices.
The meeting also highlighted opportunities to further strengthen economic, educational and business cooperation between Pakistan and Portugal.
The Embassy of Portugal expressed its readiness to support initiatives aimed at promoting stronger bilateral economic and business ties.
