Rawalpindi, October 13,2026: Experienced Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman on Tuesday became the first Pakistani batter to smash 100 sixes in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), achieving the milestone during the third and final match of the home series against Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Fakhar, who made his T20I debut in 2017, entered the match with 99 sixes to his name. The 36-year-old needed just seven deliveries to reach the landmark, clearing the boundary off Sri Lankan left-arm pacer Binura Fernando with a maximum over deep midwicket.
The left-handed batter completed his century of T20I sixes in 113 innings, becoming the first player from Pakistan to reach the milestone.
Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan is second on Pakistan’s list with 95 sixes in 93 innings, followed by captain Sahibzada Farhan, who has hit 81 sixes in 50 innings. Former captain Babar Azam occupies fourth place with 80 sixes in 136 innings, while Mohammad Hafeez is fifth with 76 sixes in 108 innings.
