Bangkok, October 14,2026: Malik Dr Robina Awan, Focal Person to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, participated in the GCC-Asia Economic Dialogue on Banking, Investment and Digital Infrastructure at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok.
The dialogue brought together perspectives on regional cooperation, investment opportunities, digital transformation and sustainable economic development.
On the occasion, Dr Robina Awan expressed her pleasure at meeting His Excellency Yaqub Yusuf Al-Rifai and engaging in discussions on strengthening regional partnerships and promoting economic cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and Asia.
She highlighted the importance of international engagement, saying meaningful dialogue provides valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships, promote youth perspectives and build bridges between Pakistan and the international community.
Dr Awan emphasized that enhanced cooperation in banking, investment and digital infrastructure could contribute to sustainable economic growth and create new opportunities for young people.
Her participation underscored the role of youth leadership and international collaboration in advancing economic diplomacy, fostering innovation and strengthening Pakistan’s engagement with regional and global partners.
