Islamabad, October 14,2026: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan met Chinese Embassy Minister-Counsellor Xu Hangtiang in Islamabad on Wednesday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-China collaboration in trade, commerce, industry and investment, with both sides exchanging views on opportunities to expand economic engagement and explore areas of mutual interest.
They also discussed enhancing business linkages, promoting industrial collaboration and identifying opportunities that could contribute to economic development in both countries.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued dialogue and institutional coordination to advance cooperation across relevant sectors and strengthen bilateral economic relations.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on further enhancing Pakistan-China cooperation in trade and industry.
