Islamabad, October 14,2026: Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan Alexandra Berg von Linde met Dr. Mufti Akeel Pirzada, Grand Mufti of Islamabad and Chairman of the Ulama Aman (Peace) Committee Pakistan, during a “Fika with Friends” gathering.
The meeting featured an engaging discussion on the importance of religious tolerance, interfaith harmony and mutual respect among people of different faiths.
Both sides highlighted the significance of promoting understanding, peaceful coexistence and dialogue to strengthen social cohesion and foster a culture of tolerance.
The informal gathering provided an opportunity to exchange views on the role of religious leaders and diplomatic engagement in promoting peace, harmony and mutual understanding in society.
