Islamabad, October 14,2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday met Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry also attended the meeting.
According to the Foreign Office, Dar expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in Pakistan-Russia relations and welcomed recent high-level visits and exchanges between the two countries.
The two sides discussed avenues for enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, culture and tourism, while also emphasising the importance of strengthening people-to-people contacts.
They also underscored the need to maintain close coordination and cooperation at multilateral forums, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
