Lahore, October 26,2026: England’s white-ball captain Harry Brook reunited with Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars on Monday, meeting its owner Sameen Rana on the sidelines of the ongoing ODI tri-series featuring Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka.
The meeting took place at a local hotel, where Rana presented Brook with commemorative souvenirs and recalled the England batter’s key contribution to Lahore Qalandars’ maiden PSL title triumph in 2022.
Although Brook has not returned to the PSL since that season, the right-handed batter has established himself as a prominent international cricketer and was subsequently appointed England’s white-ball captain.
Sharing details of the reunion, Rana described the meeting as a pleasant experience, saying they reminisced about their time together and the franchise’s historic first title.
“Four years ago, we signed a talented cricketer like Harry Brook, and he played an important role in our first historic success,” Rana said.
“Meeting a champion player like Harry Brook after four years was a wonderful experience. We reminisced about the old days and recalled the memories we shared,” he added.
Rana said Brook described his time with Lahore Qalandars as memorable, spoke fondly of his stay in Pakistan and extended his best wishes to the franchise, which has since won three PSL titles.
The reunion came a week after Brook credited his maiden PSL stint with Lahore Qalandars in 2022 with helping him understand Pakistani playing conditions and opposition players better.
Speaking ahead of the ongoing ODI tri-series, Brook said his PSL experience had helped kick-start his career and given him valuable exposure to conditions in Pakistan.
He noted that playing alongside and against Pakistani cricketers had helped him become familiar with the opposition, boosting his confidence for subsequent international series.
Brook also said his familiarity with Pakistan’s conditions and players had contributed to his confidence when facing the national team across formats.
The ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka is scheduled to conclude with the final on October 31.
