Istanbul, November 30, 2024- Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar participated in a panel discussion titled ‘War and Order: Navigating Geopolitical Shifts in a Changing World’  at 8th edition of TRTWorld Forum held in Istanbul today. At the session, the key note speech was delivered by Foreign Minister of Turkiye H. E Hakan Fidan.

During the panel discussion, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar shared her views regarding the role of global powers in Israel’s war on Gaza, role of international law in conflict resolution in Middle East and United Nations Reform.

While speaking on United Nations reforms , Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar stated that rather than creating new centres of power , assimilation of current system with its charter’s values is more important.

The other co-panelists included Thomas Greminger, Director, Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP), Fawaz A. Gerges, Professor of International Relations, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Kılıç Buğra Kanat, Senior fellow at TRT World Research Centre.
