Havalian, December 14, 2024: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has accused the state of inciting rebellion, warning that any attack on their movement will be met with equal force.

Speaking to PTI workers in Havelian, Gandapur described Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as a movement resisting “tyranny and oppression,” likening their opponents to Pharaohs. “Our struggle will continue until we achieve true freedom,” he asserted.

He criticized former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for failing to deliver in the constituency, stating, “Unlike Nawaz Sharif, I will not deceive the people.” Gandapur emphasized PTI’s focus on transparency and action.

Expressing his anguish over recent events, the chief minister condemned the military’s actions during the Islamabad crackdown. “As the son and brother of soldiers, it pains me to see the army, Punjab police, and Rangers firing on their own people,” he said.

Gandapur accused the state of pushing the public towards rebellion, warning, “We will no longer chant slogans of peace. If attacked, we will respond to bullets with bullets.”

He also urged the federal government, which he alleged came to power through manipulated electoral practices like Form 45, to “wake up and act with wisdom.”

The remarks come amid escalating tensions between PTI and the federal government, with the former accusing state institutions of suppressing dissent and undermining democratic processes.
