Lahore, December 14, 2024: Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim, who had returned from retirement earlier this year to participate in the T20 World Cup, have officially retired from international cricket again. Imad announced his decision on Friday, followed by Amir on Saturday, describing it as “difficult.”
The duo represented Pakistan at the T20 World Cup in the USA and Caribbean, where Pakistan failed to advance beyond the group stage. Despite the team’s struggles, Amir was the joint-highest wicket-taker, while Imad contributed as an economical bowler. Both remain prominent players in franchise cricket globally.
