PML-N leader Siddique-ul-Farooq passes away

Islamabad, December 15, 2024: Siddique-ul-Farooq, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has passed away after a prolonged illness, including complications related to his kidneys. Family sources confirmed his death, and his funeral prayers are scheduled for Monday.

Farooq served as the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board during the tenure of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Recently, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, representing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the Senate, visited Farooq at his home to convey the Prime Minister’s concern for his health and offer support with his medical treatment, presenting a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the Prime Minister.
