Lahore, December 20, 2024 – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that Gwadar, the scenic port city in Balochistan, will host the Player Draft for the 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (HBL PSL). The draft ceremony, which officially kicks off the league’s festivities, is set to take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
In a press release, the PCB highlighted that this decision underscores its commitment to promoting cricket across all regions of Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, where the sport enjoys a growing following. “By selecting Gwadar, the PCB aims to inspire the youth in the region to pursue cricket as a professional career and spotlight the city’s cultural and economic significance,” the statement read.
