Islamabad— Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has announced significant appointments within the Senate’s administrative ranks, appointing Syed Hasnain Haider as the Secretary Senate. Haider, who was previously serving as the Acting Secretary Senate, has now been officially elevated to the role.

In a parallel move, Hafeezullah Sheikh, previously the Additional Secretary Senate in Grade 21, has been promoted to Grade 22 and appointed as the Special Secretary Senate. Sheikh’s promotion and new role reflect his extensive experience and contributions to the Senate’s legislative and administrative operations.

Both Syed Hasnain Haider and Hafeezullah Sheikh are seasoned officers with a deep understanding of parliamentary procedures and administration. Their appointments are anticipated to further strengthen the Senate’s ability to effectively manage its legislative and administrative functions.

Official notifications for these appointments have been issued, marking a significant development in the Senate’s leadership structure.
