Islamabad, January 4, 2025 – The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has implemented temporary bandwidth adjustments after a disruption in the AAE-1 submarine cable system on January 2.
In its statement, PTA assured users that internet services across the country remain stable, with no significant impact on performance. To mitigate the issue, additional bandwidth has been allocated to ensure seamless connectivity during the ongoing repair process.
PTA confirmed it is closely monitoring the restoration efforts and is committed to maintaining reliable internet services. The authority emphasized that every possible step is being taken to preserve service quality until the fault is fully resolved.
