Lucknow, January 7, 2025: In a surprising incident in Uttar Pradesh, India, a woman reportedly left her husband and six children to run away with a beggar.

According to Indian media reports, a man named Raju has filed a police complaint against the alleged abduction of his 36-year-old wife, Rajeshwari. Following the complaint, the police have registered a case and launched a search for the missing pair.

Raju filed the complaint under Section 87, which pertains to kidnapping-related offenses. He stated that he lives in Harpalpur with his wife and six children. A 45-year-old beggar named Nanhe Pandit, who occasionally visited the neighborhood to beg, used to interact with his wife frequently. The two were also reportedly in contact over the phone.

Raju further explained that on January 3, around 2 PM, his wife told their daughter Khushboo that she was going to the market to buy clothes and vegetables. However, when she did not return, he searched for her everywhere but could not find her.

He added, “My wife has run away, and she also took with her the money I got from selling a buffalo. I suspect that the beggar has taken her with him.”

Indian police confirmed that efforts are underway to locate Nanhe Pandit and the missing woman.
