Rawalpindi, 12 January 2025: Pakistan’s security forces eliminated nine Khwarij in two separate operations in North Waziristan District on Saturday. Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Sunday that an intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Dosalli area, following reports of Khwarij presence. During the operation, security forces engaged the target location, resulting in the death of six Khwarij and the capture of two others.

A second operation was conducted in the Esham area of North Waziristan, where security forces faced an intense exchange of fire. Three Khwarij were neutralized, and two others were injured in the confrontation. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the bodies of the slain Khwarij, who had been actively involved in various terrorist activities against security forces and in the targeted killings of innocent civilians.

Ongoing sanitization operations are being carried out to clear the area of any remaining Khwarij, with Pakistan’s security forces committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
