Addressing the current challenges, he stressed the importance of achieving political unity to overcome the country’s political, economic, and security issues.

The President shared these thoughts at a dinner held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in honor of Parliamentarians from the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP), Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PMLQ), and Istehkaam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

The event was attended by notable figures including Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Chaudhary Salik Hussain, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, ANP President Senator Aimal Wali Khan, Former Prime Minister and Senator Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, and other senior political leaders.

In his address, the President called for fostering tolerance and mutual respect while strengthening democratic institutions. He emphasized that political, economic, and governance reforms are crucial for improving public service delivery and achieving economic prosperity. He urged leaders to transcend partisan interests and work earnestly for the people’s welfare, condemning the politics of confrontation that undermines national progress.
