Lahore, February 16, 2025: The much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony is set to take place today at the historic Diwan-e-Aam in Lahore Fort, featuring a star-studded lineup. Renowned singer Atif Aslam will headline the event with a live performance of the tournament’s official anthem.

With the tournament kicking off on February 19, cricket fans are gearing up for 19 days of thrilling action, eagerly awaiting the crowning of the ultimate champion.

Before the on-field battles begin, the opening ceremony will set the tone with a special panel discussion featuring legendary cricketers. Key officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) will also be in attendance.

In the lead-up to the tournament, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif officially inaugurated the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, marking a historic milestone in its 65-year legacy. The revamped venue is now ready to host high-stakes clashes as Pakistan welcomes the world for this prestigious cricketing event.
