Islamabad, February 23, 2025: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched its 14th humanitarian aid consignment to Palestine, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Gaza.
The shipment, coordinated in collaboration with the Al-Khidmat Foundation, comprises 100 tons of essential relief supplies, including bell tents, winterized tents, tarpaulin sheets, and medical equipment.
A send-off ceremony was held at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, attended by senior officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The aid was transported via a chartered flight to El Arish International Airport in Egypt, from where it will be delivered to Gaza to assist those affected by the ongoing crisis.
This relief effort, carried out under the prime minister’s directives, is part of Pakistan’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance. The latest shipment marks the 25th overall relief consignment sent to war-affected communities in the Middle East.
With this consignment, Pakistan has provided a total of 1,478 tons of aid exclusively for Palestine, underscoring the country’s dedication to supporting Gaza’s residents in these difficult times. Additionally, Pakistan has sent 372 tons of relief aid to Lebanon and 111 tons to Syria, bringing the total humanitarian assistance to 1,961 tons.
The Government of Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the people of Palestine and will continue to extend humanitarian aid based on their evolving needs.
