Islamabad, March 22, 2025: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif departed for Islamabad on Saturday after completing his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
At Jeddah Airport, Governor of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, bid farewell to the prime minister, according to a statement from the PM Office Media Wing.
During his visit from March 19 to March 22, the prime minister engaged in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, boosting economic cooperation, and enhancing investment between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
PM Shehbaz Sharif held a key meeting with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, where they explored mechanisms to enhance trade, collaborate in key sectors, and streamline processes for economic partnerships.
Additionally, the prime minister met with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, Head of the Joint Task Force for Economic Engagement, to discuss ways to attract Saudi investments, accelerate joint projects, and expand economic cooperation in strategic sectors.
Concluding his visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif visited Masjid-e-Nabawi in Madina Munawara, paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (SAW), and performed Umrah in Makkah Mukarrama.
