Lahore, January 18, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met Japanese Ambassador Akamatsu Shoichi, where she accepted an invitation to visit Japan. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing trade cooperation, and attracting Japanese investment in sectors such as agriculture, mining, IT, AI, robotics, and energy. Maryam expressed gratitude for Japan’s support during the 2022 floods and assured full facilitation and security for Japanese investors in Punjab.
