Rawalpindi, February 15, 2025: Security forces successfully eliminated fifteen terrorists in two separate operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism. In an intelligence-based operation in the Hathala area of Dera Ismail Khan District, security forces engaged terrorists at a known hideout. As a result, nine terrorists, including high-value targets (HVTs) Farman alias Saqib, Amanullah alias Toori, Saeed alias Liaqat, and Bilal, were neutralized. These individuals were involved in multiple acts of terrorism and were highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
In another operation in Miran Shah, North Waziristan District, six more terrorists were taken down by security forces. However, in the line of duty, Lieutenant Muhammad Hassaan Arshaf (21, from Lahore) led his troops with exceptional bravery and embraced martyrdom. Alongside him, three valiant soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice. The martyred soldiers included Naib Subedar Muhammad Bilal (39, from Dera Ismail Khan), Sepoy Farhat Ullah (27, from Lakki Marwat) and Sepoy Himat Khan (29, from Mohmand).
Security forces continue to conduct sanitization operations to eliminate any remaining threats in the region. The armed forces remain resolute in their mission to rid the nation of terrorism, with the sacrifices of their brave personnel further strengthening their resolve.
