Islamabad, March 5, 2025: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has delivered a message from Imran Khan to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, urging him to align with PTI at what he described as a pivotal moment for the country.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Raja expressed concerns over growing disillusionment among the youth, noting that many young Pakistanis were looking for opportunities abroad due to uncertainty about the nation’s future. Emphasizing Khan’s appeal, he stated:

“This is the time for Maulana Fazlur Rehman to stand with us in this struggle.”

Quoting Khan directly, Raja added: “Tell Maulana Fazlur Rehman that now is the time to support us.”

Following Khan’s message, PTI has intensified efforts to establish political dialogue with JUI-F. Sources confirm that Salman Akram Raja has reached out to JUI-F leaders to explore the possibility of a meeting between the two parties.

JUI-F leadership acknowledged the contact but informed PTI that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is currently performing Umrah. However, they expressed willingness to engage in discussions upon his return.
