Four security officials martyred in Quetta blast

Quetta, April 25, 2025: Four security personnel were martyred and three others injured in a powerful explosion targeting a bomb disposal squad vehicle in the Marget area on the outskirts of Quetta on Friday.

According to security sources, the blast occurred while the squad was conducting routine operations. The martyred officials have been identified as Subedar Shehzad Amin, Naib Subedar Abbas, Sepoy Khalil, and Sepoy Zahid.

The injured personnel include Lance Naik Zafar, Lance Naik Farooq, and Sepoy Khurram Saleem. They were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down those responsible for the attack. Authorities said all necessary measures were being taken to restore order and ensure the safety of the surrounding community.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
