Lahore, April 30, 2025: Cricket fans in Lahore are in for a thrilling day as the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 prepares for its first double-header at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium on May 1, a public holiday. The 20th match of the tournament will see Multan Sultans face off against Karachi Kings, with the first ball scheduled for 3:00 PM. Later in the evening, the hometown favorites Lahore Qalandars will take on Quetta Gladiators, with the match beginning at 8:00 PM.

In light of the expected high temperatures, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced several measures to ensure fan comfort and safety. Spectators will be allowed to bring umbrellas into the stadium to shield themselves from the sun, and water coolers will be installed in every enclosure to help them stay hydrated. The PCB has also encouraged attendees to wear hats or caps for added sun protection and set up special lemonade stalls across the venue to offer cooling refreshments.

Additionally, the PCB has issued a health advisory to help fans manage the heat. Spectators are advised to drink plenty of water throughout the day, regardless of thirst, and to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Wearing light-coloured, breathable clothing such as cotton or linen is recommended, along with sun-shielding headwear.

With excitement building for the twin clashes and safety measures in place, the PCB aims to deliver an enjoyable and secure matchday experience for fans attending the landmark double header.
