HBL PSL X playoffs set to begin tomorrow at Gaddafi Stadium

Lahore, May 20, 2025: The highly anticipated playoffs of HBL Pakistan Super League Season 10 (PSL X) are all set to kick off on Wednesday, May 21, at Lahore’s historic Gaddafi Stadium, reigniting fan excitement as the tournament enters its final and most thrilling phase.

The playoff action will begin with the Qualifier, where Quetta Gladiators, the top team in the standings, will face Islamabad United, who finished second. The toss is scheduled for 7:00 PM, with the first ball to be bowled at 7:30 PM under the floodlights.

PSL X playoff schedule:

  • Qualifier: Quetta Gladiators vs Islamabad United — Wednesday, May 21
  • Eliminator 1: Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings — Thursday, May 22
  • Eliminator 2: Loser of Qualifier vs Winner of Eliminator 1 — Friday, May 23
  • Final: Winner of Qualifier vs Winner of Eliminator 2 — Sunday, May 25

Standout performers so far:

Batting leaders:

  • Sahibzada Farhan (Islamabad United) leads the run charts, wearing the Hanif Mohammad Cap with 394 runs in 10 matches, including one century and two half-centuries.
  • James Vince (Karachi Kings) closely follows with 374 runs, featuring one century and three fifties.
  • Fakhar Zaman (Lahore Qalandars) has compiled 369 runs, registering four half-centuries.

Bowling leaders:

  • Mohammad Abbas Afridi (Karachi Kings) tops the bowling table with 17 wickets, earning him the Fazal Mahmood Cap.
  • Abrar Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators), Jason Holder (Islamabad United), and Hasan Ali (Karachi Kings) are tied with 15 wickets each.

With in-form players, intense rivalries, and high stakes, the stage is set for a thrilling climax to PSL X.
