Islamabad, July 15, 2025: Maulana Abdul Habib Attari, head and spokesperson of Dawat-e-Islami and member of its governing council, met with Dr. Zuhair Mohammad Hamadallah Zaid, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Pakistan, at the Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Maulana Attari briefed the Ambassador on the ongoing humanitarian relief operations being conducted by the Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF), the welfare arm of Dawat-e-Islami, in support of the people of Gaza. He shared that FGRF is actively engaged in daily relief efforts and has so far provided six million litres of clean drinking water, cooked meals for over 400,000 individuals, 100,000 kilograms of flour, monthly ration packs to more than 75,000 people, and tents for 400 displaced families. Additionally, the foundation has distributed infant milk and diapers to 5,000 families, 1,000 mattresses, 5,000 hygiene kits, vegetable baskets, cash assistance to 5,000 families, and essential medicines and basic life necessities to 1,000 families.

Maulana Attari also highlighted FGRF’s outreach to Palestinian refugees in Egypt, where many displaced persons have fled amid the ongoing conflict. He noted that FGRF has established a medical center in Egypt to serve these displaced individuals, particularly those who have lost family members during the war in Gaza. In partnership with the Palestinian Embassy, the foundation recently distributed cash assistance among 500 families of war victims currently residing in Egypt.

Ambassador Dr. Zuhair Zaid expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dawat-e-Islami and FGRF for their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and solidarity with the people of Gaza. In recognition of their extensive relief efforts, he presented a shield of appreciation to Maulana Abdul Habib Attari.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for the martyrs of Gaza and the planting of a commemorative tree at the embassy, symbolizing eternal remembrance and collective hope for peace.
