Dhaka, July 17, 2025: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced an unchanged squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, starting July 20 at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

The squad mirrors the lineup that recently clinched a 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka, with the selectors opting for consistency as the T20 World Cup approaches.

“It’s a different matter if changes are necessary, but until the World Cup, we want consistency and to avoid unnecessary experimentation,” said BCB Chairman of Cricket Operations Najmul Abedeen Fahim. “Stability in the squad is key at this stage.”

Meanwhile, the Pakistan team, led by Salman Ali Agha, arrived in Dhaka on July 16. The touring side features several new faces, including fast bowlers Ahmed Daniyal and Salman Mirza, both poised to make their international debuts.

Pakistan will be without key players Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf due to injuries. Shadab recently underwent shoulder surgery in the UK, addressing a long-standing issue that had impacted his performances. Rauf is sidelined with a Grade 1 hamstring injury sustained while playing for the San Francisco Unicorns in the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) season. Hasan Ali is also unavailable as he continues to represent the Birmingham Bears in England’s ongoing Vitality Blast.

The three-match T20I series will take place entirely in Dhaka, with games scheduled for July 20, 22, and 24—all starting at 6:00 PM local time.

The two sides last met in May 2025, when Pakistan secured a clean 3-0 sweep on home soil.

Bangladesh Squad for Pakistan T20Is:
Litton Kumer Das (Captain), Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Parvez Hossain Emon, Md Naim Sheikh, Tawhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali Anik, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Shak Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Md Saifuddin.
