New York, July 23, 2025: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reiterated their resolve to strengthen economic and technical cooperation, with a focus on mutual growth and regional stability. The renewed commitment came during a high-level meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Minister for Economy and Planning, Faisal Fadhil Al-Ibrahim, held on the sidelines of Pakistan-led events at the United Nations Security Council.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting emphasized deepening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in key sectors such as food security, industry, and minerals. Both sides reaffirmed their shared vision for sustainable peace, regional harmony, and economic prosperity.
The two leaders agreed to boost investment flows and broaden economic linkages beyond traditional trade, aiming for enhanced technical collaboration, skill development, and joint ventures. The meeting also aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s push to attract foreign investment to revive its economy and generate employment.
