Islamabad, August 7, 2025:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has claimed that party members were offered millions of rupees to defect, but stood their ground and refused to betray their principles.

Speaking to reporters outside Parliament House on Thursday, Barrister Gohar said, “We sacrificed everything, but never compromised. Those whose families, homes, and businesses suffered are still standing firmly with the party.”

He reaffirmed PTI’s continued allegiance to party founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. “We were with him, we are with him, and we will always remain with him,” he declared.

Gohar also criticized those who, according to him, left the party to seek personal benefits. “We have distanced ourselves from those who pursued privileges or sought to have their cases dismissed,” he said. “We did not abandon the parliamentary battlefield. The elections were stolen from us, yet we did not accept defeat.”

Concluding his remarks, the PTI chairman stated that he intends to meet Imran Khan soon. “We chose the difficult path and rejected the easy options,” he said, underscoring the party’s resolve to stay united in the face of pressure.

The statement comes amid ongoing political tensions and allegations of coercion and political engineering ahead of crucial legislative sessions.
