Islamabad, August 8, 2025: Former Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned business leader Qazi Muhammad Akbar.

In his condolence message issued from Vehari on Friday, Zahid Chaudhry prayed for the elevation of the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience.

Offering condolences to Qazi Muhammad Akbar’s brother Dr. Qazi Muhammad Ashraf, President of Chakwal Chamber Aamir Najeeb Bhutta, former presidents Khawaja Arif Yousaf, Chaudhry Shehzad Saadat, Khurram Kamran, Haji Nazir Sultan, and other family members and associates, Zahid Chaudhry said the late Akbar was a visionary personality whose leadership played a vital role in resolving the challenges faced by business and trade communities not only in Chakwal but across Pakistan.

He noted that Qazi Muhammad Akbar’s foremost priority was to bring Chakwal at par with developed districts in terms of economic, commercial, and industrial progress. “His contributions to the upliftment of Chakwal’s business sector will be remembered for years to come,” he added.

Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry reiterated that the United Business Group (UBG) will continue to walk alongside the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce in line with the late leader’s vision and will make every effort to fulfill his unaccomplished mission.

He also praised Qazi Akbar’s dedication to social and welfare initiatives for the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society, describing him as a proud chapter in the history of Chakwal.

Highlighting his institutional contributions, Chaudhry recalled that Qazi Muhammad Akbar was the founding figure of the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and served as Vice President of FPCCI with great distinction.
