Showbiz stars share patriotic messages on Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day

Islamabad, August 14, 2025: Prominent Pakistani showbiz celebrities marked the country’s 78th Independence Day with heartfelt messages, patriotic tributes, and vibrant social media posts.

Actress Ayeza Khan took to Instagram, writing: “Pakistan Zindabad. May the winds of peace touch every corner of our homeland, may prosperity bloom in every heart. Ameen.”

Veteran actress Reema Khan and her husband also extended greetings to the nation, while Nadia Hussain congratulated Pakistanis with what she described as “mixed” feelings.

Actress Zubab Rana celebrated the day with a fresh set of photos, dressed in a white ethnic outfit paired with a green dupatta. One image featured the national flag, captioned simply: “Pakistan Mubarak.” Fans flooded her comments section with Independence Day wishes.

Singer Faakhir Mehmood, formerly of the band Awaz, shared his iconic national song “Ae Jawan”, while former Vital Signs member Rizwanul Haque paid tribute with the timeless anthem “Dil Dil Pakistan.”

Zainab Shabbir, Mashal Khan, and Dananeer Mobeen also posted Independence Day greetings. Mashal Khan’s post read: “Happiest Independence Day to my always and forever favourite country… My mitti, my home, my love, my Pakistan. May Allah always protect our land and our people.”

Actresses Sahiba Afzal and Saba Faisal shared messages urging unity and national integration, while Aiman Khan posted family photos in national colours alongside a message celebrating Pakistan’s birth as “a dream built on sacrifice, unity, and faith.”
