Asim Munir visits Turbat, reviews security and development plans

Rawalpindi, August 23, 2025: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Saturday visited Turbat in Balochistan to review the security situation and assess ongoing development initiatives in the region, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

During the visit, the Army Chief received a detailed briefing on the security environment and recent successful operations against Fitna-ul-Hindustan. He was also updated on projects aimed at improving socio-economic conditions in the area.

In meetings with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, the Chief Secretary, and senior civil officials, Field Marshal Munir underscored the importance of good governance and public participation. He stressed that coordinated efforts between civil and military institutions were essential for lasting stability and prosperity in the province.

The Army Chief reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to Balochistan’s sustainable development and praised the high morale and operational readiness of troops serving in the province. He was received in Turbat by the Corps Commander Balochistan.
