Sharjah, August 31, 2025: Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson has dedicated the team’s recent victories to the people affected by the devastating floods back home.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Hesson wrote: “These back-to-back wins are dedicated to everyone affected by the floods in Pakistan.”

Expressing solidarity with the flood-hit population, he added: “Some people are really struggling and we are praying for safety and strength for all those affected back in Pakistan.”

The dedication came after Salman Ali Agha’s Pakistan side recorded consecutive wins in Sharjah — defeating Afghanistan by 39 runs and UAE by 31 runs — bringing some cheer to fans amid the national crisis.
