Rawalpindi, September 11, 2025: Security forces killed 19 terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij in three separate operations carried out across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 9 and 10, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), acting on intelligence reports, security forces launched an operation in Gulonoo area of Mohmand district. The terrorists’ hideout was effectively targeted, and after a heavy exchange of fire, 14 militants were killed.

In a second intelligence-based operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, four more terrorists were neutralised during a firefight. Separately, security forces engaged militants in Bannu district, killing one more terrorist.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from those slain. The ISPR spokesperson said the terrorists were actively involved in multiple attacks in the region. A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats.

The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain determined to root out Indian-backed terrorism and ensure lasting peace across the country.
