Peshawar, September 15, 2025: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has placed bounties on 1,351 most-wanted terrorists across the province, with the total reward pool exceeding Rs4.15 billion, officials said on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), identities of 676 individuals on the list have been verified through their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs).

Peshawar district tops the list, with 185 terrorists carrying bounties — the highest for any district. In North Waziristan, 129 individuals have been named, followed by 117 in Bannu and 111 in Dera Ismail Khan.

In Khyber district, bounties have been announced for 72 suspects, while Kohat has 65. Upper Dir, Lower Dir, and Lakki Marwat each account for 55 wanted men on the list.

Authorities said the move forms part of ongoing counter-terrorism measures to curb militant activity, particularly in districts where security challenges remain acute.
